Financial Help

Hello everyone,

So every race I lose 222k per race. I have a fair amount of money but I am only a level 7 manager and assume this gets worse and worse as we level up. How do you make money per race or is it just lose money all the time and replenish the lost money with tokens. 

Or have I selected the wrong sponsors? I selected the sponsors for 3 tokens and wtf1 as secondary for money.

First of, you will be able to gain more sponsor income as you level up. Each time you level up the amount you get from you sponsors increases. (This only applies to newly signed contracts. The amount you get from them is then fixed for the next 10 races.)

Secondly, you kind of run a very expensive team for a level 6 manager right now. I assume this is your 1st account in this game. I made the same 'financial mistakes' you made with my 1st account, too. I suggest waiting with acquiring higher level (and talented) drivers until you have completed 3 full seasons. Train the ones you originally get and replace them later on as you progress with better (high talented) ones. I'd also recommend not to replace you staff each time you level up. As long as you don't exceed lvl 10-12 it's okay to replace them just every other level imo. I also wouldn't bother signing a new doctor in the early stages of your manager career, but wait with that until you have acquired a decent driver or have to do so out of necessity to be more competitive later on. A doctor only helps you to develop your drivers abilities faster, which in turn increases race pace, but has no other impact on race performance in this game.

Thirdly, regarding the sponsors, it's perhaps wise to switch to a high amount of bonus-paying 2-token sponsor the next time you sign a new sponsorship deal, if you have trouble financing your team right now.

I know that you already have made your choice regarding drivers and staff and also invested a lot of money in them right now. This should simply be a guideline what you could have done better and still can, altough it will cost you some money again to reverse it. But in the beginning stages it would be wise to make a profit every race in order to be able to upgrade your HQ on a continually basis.

I had that trouble too early on, and got into debt, but i changed to cheaper suppliers for awhile until i started making my objectives and therefore got the bonus money from the sponsors.
