All design emphasis is on the next season. Now its 90% This Season and 2% next season. But instead of beeing able to nevertheless develop my NEXT SEASON PERFORMANCE, it looks like this.

This season performance: Chassis (+1%), Sidepods (+1%)

Next season performance:Chassis (+2%), Sidepods (+2%)

To describe the problem a bit more pointy:

The next season developement shouldn\'t be so much connected with this seasons development. Meaning that you can have 100% this season but can still get about 8% on next season.
The next problem is that you need the same amount of designers no matter if you go on full this season (which would make sense as you are almost at 100%) or next season (which doesnt make sense because you are at <10%).

See my problem? Next season is always connected to this season. So even with a fully developed car for this season you barely can get out anything for next season because you need a horrendous lot of designers and still only get 2% at max.

It is designed this way intentionally. We even ran it so that the two were completely separate for a while and it was far too easily exploited. People just ran 100% next season emphasis all the time, resulting in a perfect, unbeatable car all the time.

Unless you want to be in the situation where 1 team can dominate indefinitely and nobody can beat them, then this is how it is.

Well even if you want to stick to that i think its rather extreme. The Next Season should still be developable in a way which it would also be IRL. 2% is a bit too harsh imho.
