This sounds like a dumb question but are all talent 20 drivers as fast as each other if their stats are the same? I've swapped drivers and seem to be slower is why I ask. Also does driver experience have any bearing on speed?

There’s the answer in your question, new driver has less experience, thats why the new driver is slower

In my experience the drivers have different skills even when the stats are the same. Some drivers even seem to prefer certain tracks. This is what I noticed. I wonder if the taller pilots are generally slower than the short ones?
Pilots become better when gaining more experience and become slower with advanced age, I have read somewhere. But on the other hand I have seen granny drivers being really fast. Don't know...

I have the same opinion. I'm not sure if height has anything to do with it as my old driver who was quicker was also taller. It would be interesting to get the opinion of some of the more experienced players who have had multiple drivers

Height does do things. It can make some drivers more suited to tracks like monaco, or tracks like italy. I've had a 186cm driver and a 168cm driver, the 186cm driver dominated in tracks like Italy or belgium

I have recently noticed that many talent 20 drivers, even with maxed out stats are only overall level 17/18 and it seems very rare to find one that is level overall level 19/20. Does anyone know the reason for this, does it also prove that not all talent 20 drivers are as good as each other?
