Firstly yes, i know that keyboard and mouse rules. couldn't agree more. BUT sometimes a controller does a better job in certain games..

I bought a Logic3 freebird wireless controller, it was great but someone went under my best and got crushed when i got on it. Opened, it up and it there was only one visible problem which i inprovised and solved. But then my left stick was just completely messed up (pointing up when im pushing it down)

Anyways any good suggestions for replacements ?

360 pad is the only pad to have really. Windows is Microsoft.. 360's are... they make sure the most supported pad is their own.

My mate tried FIFA 13 on a PS pad and even after downloading the mappings, it still wasn't right to use.

If you are thinking about actual driving games, then a wheel is the only option tbh.

& nice wheel Jaap. :)

*Drools over the fanatec wheel with club sport pedals.

I've tried a couple of cheap racing wheels then turned to the Logitech G27 - worth every penny when playing the F1 game on the PC.

YUCK... That is the reson I have stopped playing Codemasters game... 1 car and that is it.. Yet they couldn't be bothered to make a full arcade and full sim version.. even with all the settings off, it's still only about 70 to 80% sim. Shame..

@ Nag. Fanatec wheels are by far the best main stream wheel you can get, but if you are looking at a starter wheel. Ebay a momo or other non G25/27 Logitech wheels... and yeah, the pad is easy to get use to. I came from nothing but Nintendo pads and it was easy to pick up and most games have multi button layouts or even full custom.

If you've got a PS3 controller you can use this to get it working pretty much perfectly.  You'll need a bluetooth adapter to use it wirelessly.

I use the X360 emulation option, that way you dont get any issues with Games for Windows crap.

in our iracing league...logitec dfgt's and g27's mostly used....our commentator and broadcaster uses a xbox controller for the cameras which works great....heres an example..   http://www.twitch.tv/nordgar/c/2448366   u can see how easy it is to zoom in and out......even an old microsoft sidewinder control pad works great for the pc too
