I used to play the game more than a year ago, i re joined now and i notice the developer boosted the DRS effect.
I am in a very competitive league where many managers are live, the only win strategy is the one that allow your drivers to stay in group to get DRS every laps.
The race become like a train from start till the end with 10 or more drivers in a few seconds, this is boring imho.
In the short term drs effect could be reduced, in the long term there's should be more strategy option to make race more unpredictible.

You should vote the poll only if you have experienced the "DRS trains", this is an endgame thing that affected high level players /league
What do you think?

I've been playing the game for a year + and haven't noticed any significant changes to DRS.

Think it's fine as it is, or have it slightly reduced. If we can actually get overtaking animations instead of cars just passing through each other that would be great.

Matteo, you seem to have played since 2012 way before the current mobile-friendly version of the game got released.

Yes, the DRS effect has been greatly increased with the new iGP, especially with the Technology facility giving more DRS and Boost levels as you level up, creating artificial DRS trains at higher levels (very evident in Elite tiers where managers have more developed HQs). I'm not a fan of artificially-induced trains or pack racing either. I'm also not a fan of how you can overtake just with powerful DRS most of the time too, when before, you needed a bit of Boost. But it is the norm with the current iGP atm and after getting used to it, some close races can be pretty enjoyable.

Most players who've only played since the release of the "new iGP" from late 2016 onwards (mid-2016 if you played the open beta) would only have experienced the current simulation of overly powerful DRS and frequency of artificial DRS trains. This is why this seems to be the norm to most players now, when back in 2016, this along with other changes in the game were seen as quite a substantial shift.

Only who have experienced the "DRS train" should vote the poll.
I'm in this game since the 2012 but not continuously, however i'm proud that i contributed to the game developement since the very beginning, and we were only a bunch of players, even less those who donated money like me.

I loved the game cause there is no game such this around, but i hated this DRS when it became the main thing that players have to manage during race.

I'd like to have more useful and new strategy options with tyre every season, this could be beyond the DRS train thing.
I've done a post in the suggestion section called "pre season test" or something like that i hope someone can take inspiration from that.
Sorry for my english it's not so good
