You came 1st and 2nd at your last race. What are you talking about?

It looks like you ran out of fuel in the pit lane

As Clark said, you ran out of fuel. I noticed you also took 1L out for your second stint relative to what was in the first stint, really running it to the wire, and just paid the price.

This is an instance where "coasting" would have saved you, but that's not implemented yet, currently the cars stop when they run out of fuel.

at the end of the race infact it tolds me they retired for fuel...but  it didn't show during race maybe cuz of the pit lane..but when inrace the gas goes from 5l to 4l that means i have 4.9 left or 4.6?

it would be nice to see the fuel left in tens behind the comma : ]

4.5

I know, it's silly.

Why is it like this Jack? Wouldn't it seem logical to make it 4.99 when it switches from 5 to 4?

I've fallen victim to this before at a 3.7L per lap track. I crossed the line on the last lap with it still showing 4, and then about 100 metres after the line it switched from 4 to 3, so here I was thinking I still had 3.99L in the tank I pushed maximum 5/5.

I then ran out of fuel about 50 metres before the line and that's when someone explained that I had 3.5 not 3.99 lol.

I can only ask for features to be changed in the viewer, as I don't develop it. I asked for it to be changed so that below 10 you would see the decimal value a while ago but this hasn't been added yet.

and there are more urgent issues which need to be addressed

I agree with Edwin, this is important and needs to be addressed, but I would do other things before. Think about it as F1, All cars need to have a FULL 1 Litre of fuel for sampling after the race, simply calculate on that basis and cover yourself. The driver pits automatically when the car is going to run out of fuel, and if you eliminate that it's up to you running the risk. If it happens to F1 teams...

I don't think it's fair to see with decimal values because not even in real life you can't be THAT precise, normally teams must have at least one liter left. And they put a bit extra to ensure they don't OOF. You can't be that exact, sometimes fuel reside on the pipes, sometimes pump cannot drag the last drop from the tank, sometimes it runs on fumes, it's not that exact.
