I think the height is used to determine the drivers perfect setup at each track.

The height u will find is the driver that is taller usually likes the ride height lower.

Driver height makes ride height higher or lower.

Taller in height - less ride height

Smaller in height - more ride height

My taller height driver has always done better but I don't think it means that he's faster.
