This is a thread dedicated to sharing stories about the best race/s you've ever had in iGP.  Feel free to share your amazing stories.  It's often interesting reading about others' races.

----------------------------

My favourite race was in my 50th ever race, in Spa (Pro division).  The track turned fully wet just before quali, and I had not had top 5 pace for most of the season.  However, I capitalised on the wet track, and took P1/P3 on the grid on wets.  Most of the field was on inters.  I guess I got lucky that the best 2 managers weren't on as much.  One of them didn't even bother to do a set-up or anything, iirc.

I managed to keep P1 at the start of the race and bolt away from the manager in 2nd (who had also selected wets for the race).  My 2nd driver moved up into 2nd eventually, as the other guy's drivers were on 2-stops (I was doing a 3-stop).  I managed to pull out quite a large gap out front with driver 1, before pitting.  I think that driver rejoined well clear of the field after his 2nd stop.  My heart pumped rapidly, and my worries escalated from whether I'd secure a double podium (which I didn't), to worries about running out of fuel with the lead car by the end of the race.  In the end, I managed to win comfortably, ran out of fuel, secured a FL and got my first win in that wonderful league that I still race in now (Full Throttle Racing).  Currently I am yet to get a win in the elite division, but one day I might get lucky.
