I just sent an offer to one of my former drivers and she accepted it within a couple of minutes. I clicked "Accept" and the system kicked out the driver I was replacing. HOWEVER - the driver I signed still isn't listed with my team. She still shows up on the offer list with 9 minutes remaining. I will try to sign her after the time expires but thought I'd let you know to tighten up the code.

And now I see she's signed with another team. This does not please me.

For what it's worth, even though she's now ensconsced at another team, her acceptance letter is still stuck in my Inbox and I can't delete it. She's also still listed as "Concluding..." negotiations with me.

And signed by someone in your same league and tier. I'd be angry too. :(

I wouldn't be so mad except that it was Hughes.

Plus, he went and signed the driver that got released when I "signed" her as well. It appears I am the SouthFork farm system.

Well, my consolation is that you signed Bjart too. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

No, seriously, he sucks. Ask Watson.

I hope you know I didnt intend for this to happen. I just saw an opening in the market and took it. It was a toss up for me taking your other driver. Now I really wish I hadnt done that. I hope they figure something out on this. Thats painful.

Nah, don't worry about it. The better you do, the more fun we'll have throwing FUs your way... ;)

Oh, and I'm not kidding - Bjart sucks. There's a reason I wanted to resign Robinson!

Im thinking Bjart is just misunderstood. Or maybe Im just overrun with madness. :)

Tony, If you haven't already done so, please log a call with the helpdesk & I will ask for this to be looked into. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

yeah Hughes, I can't even give you the comment you deserve on Robinson for taking bjart, he never ran anywhere near his potential just puttered along midpack enjoying the scenery.

It could be madness though, I had him teamed with bart most of his time with me, could be the he just couldn't handle the whole bart/bjart thing and snapped.

According to the records in the database John made the offer first at 16:01:07. This was followed by Tony's offer at 17:11:49. So in the end it seems like John should have gotten the driver anyway.

This is almost certainly related to the "fix" I put live a few days ago to prevent drivers from being locked in to an expired bid. It seems to be a bit too trigger happy, and put a driver back on the market that was already taken. I'll work on improving it further.

Edit: I've applied an update that will stop this from happening again.

You may also want to look into the variable that Robinson was my driver before and I was resigning her - the acceptance e-mail I got had a "Re: Driver Contract" subject line and what might have happened was that the system essentially duplicated her original acceptance message.

I was finally able to clear her off my shortlist by clicking "Reject" in the e-mail, by the way.

I should mention that when I sent the offer there was no sign of any other competing offers either.
