Lost 17 rep.

Dunno yet. Going to try.

Additional comments:
I know it is a weak league. A 1-2 finish is still all I can do. A loss of reputation is unacceptable.

It's not a bug, it's always been this way. Your objective is linked to sponsor bonus, it has nothing to do with reputation.
The rep system rewards managers who compete in leagues where there are other strong managers and penalises strong managers who join weak leagues, even if they win. As your rep drops closer to the league average the losses will reduce and eventually will begin to rise again. But given the large difference between your Rep and the league average it is likely to take a long time.
If you're concerned about reduction in rep you are going to have to join a stronger league.

This happens because it's a weak league. That makes iGP suggest a win is only the formality, resulting in a rep drop. Pretty sure it's stated in the help/sporting regulations (?) section as well, so it's not actually a problem in the game!

As Alex says, your Rep is 9934 (it was 9951 before you lost 17 last race). The league average Rep in Elite is...

I don't say I should gain points. But at least I should not loose points. See ELO Ratings or stuff like that: a strong player puts himself at risk, when facing a much weaker opponent: Not much to gain, much too loose. But he can't loose rating points as long as he wins.

So it is my bad if someone starts on SS, "steals" Pole and leads the first quarter of a race?

Granted, I did one stop while other did 2. So there were Softs in front of me at times as well.
I think only result should count and I think it does.

I don’t know what other factors may influence the rep, but in the hand scheme of things the rep only matters in some leagues as an entry point.

Today my objective was 2nd place. I finished 1st and 2nd and lost rep again. Please consider this a bug.

I don't see why anyone is concerned about rep it's pointless to even moan about it just enjoy the races heck I'm at the back of the grid in every race I got 1 point in 20 races last season in my league but do I care no because I just enjoy the races and enjoy the league. Rep is just so some can show off their ego..

Well, I joined that league, cause Mon, Wed, Sat suits my schedule. Running 50% with 1.5 speed and no competition is the trade of. As soon as my schedule allows, I'll rejoin 100% daily racing. I don't care about my rep in general, but it might harm me when looking for strong competition (min rep 9000 league, etc.).

This thread is not about complaining. It is about a bug, since this behavior of the game is just unlogical.
If this bug leads to strong players shying away from joining weak leagues even more, it influences gameplay.
