Leaving CD is not *active* one for his last race?

What did you try to do?
I had 2 CD. The one with weakness Reliability was the active one and had one race left. I did research on Cooling. It was at 20. One other team at 100. With 42% research power I expected 34 points on Cooling.

What happened instead?
After the race my TD told me, we got 17 points on Cooling. That seems to be a bug.
My now active CD has Cooling as weakness. So that would lead to exact 17 points. But she wasn't the active one for last race. She was forced in active role, since the contract of the other CD expired. But that should not affect research of last race, should it?

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?

What operating system is your PC?
Win10

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
Chrome

Can the bug be reproduced?
Probably. But an expiring contract AND different weaknesses AND spying on one of them is a rare combination.

Additional comments:
Is strength effected in the same way?
I.e. did I NOT get the extra points for next season of leaving CD strength? Dunno yet. Have to wait for season end.

Hi Cole, while this is probably a rare case, it does seem to be a reproducible bug, about 1 week ago one of our beta testers reported the exact same scenario in our internal bugs channel. I thus assume it has been put already on the bug list of the developers, but I'll anyway flag this report too, so the support team can add it to the list if not done yet. 

By the way, bit off-topic, but one of our moderators summarized this situation as:

I imagine the entire design team were back at the factory watching the race on the TV. After the race finishes, cup of tea and back to the drawing board.
"But hang on, we have a new CD, the last one just walked out of the door with a huge golden handshake and a pension."
