Refund due to paying for a service that is not up to scratch.

I have finally decided that paying into this game to help improve it, no longer justifies the constant, neverending bugs that crop up and just mess up the game.

If the owners of this game would please refund me my money, you have failed several times to keep up your promises. We are being told NOTHING about the development of this game, nothing but "The simulation is giving us problems," "Changes are taking longer than expected" etc etc etc and locking threads that challenge the creators of this game.

Why were we told that, the developers were going to keep us informed and updated about the progress of this game's improvements, yet ever sice the one year renewal date, we have seen nothing get changed, were all still being left in the dark.

I've had enough and I want my money back.

Got decieved by the false promises during the March update but smokescreens only last for so long.

I agree that they should keep us up to date but a refund ?

Ethan please don't overact. I paid for this game and don't regret it at all, and cannot emphasize with anything summed in that exaggeration.

TBF last year they advertised a new design system. Put a special offer on to buy a one years sub. A whole year later and that new design system hasnt  arrived. We have been promised major improvements which havent shown up. I only paid for that year because of false advertising.

Out of order Jaap.. 1. You have no idea what Ethan has been through with this game. I have seen time and time again with things going wrong with his account and others in our league... 2. Length of time we have been around to you. Lewis is a long time member as well.. So he knows where Ethan is coming from. Making statments like that when you've only been playing this game for 5 mins is just not needed tbh.

I asked this question and had my post locked.. Then I re-posted and was told that it was because my post was aimed directly towards the dev's of this game.

My question was this - Is this update just a smoke screen for the 1 year contracts that are up ?

This came about because around a year before that post. When we 1st signed up to iGP, we had "Quarterly" updates. We had 1 update with a questionair.. Then we waited for a BIG Q2 Patch.... waited and waited and waited.. 3 months went to 4, 5, 6, 7.... by about the 10th month, we get a message about updates will no longer be Quarterly... They will come out as soon as they are ready to be released... ok.. waited.... waited and then guess what.. the 12 months contracts are coming up and bang.. an UPDATE.. This is about the 2nd main update since we started and yet from day 1.. we have waited for the very basics to be addressed... Monza tyres.. (Our league ran 40 Ltrs on Hards per stint this week).. and many other little issues that Ethan, others in our league and myself have had and are having.

No where near enough information is being put to us from the Devs. We have lost decent members who tell us that they are quitting over the lack of things happening.. They don't bother posting about it. The same would of happened in other leagues. Some on the rare occation, will post.. Ethan has and I am not far behind him tbh. I think I'll finish off this season and call it time. I don't need to ask for my money back, as I pay per month to help the devs more by paying more.. but I am fed up with the lack of feedback and updates... The game is getting tiresome. shame. :(

I've been playing this game since december 2012. That's 50698 times five minutes.
Maybe I'm less impressed cause I work in advertising. Let me tell you a secret; it's all about money.

Although I admit, locking topics is kinda bad.

The tier I race in with this account is empty save for me and that is the exact reason why. There used to be about 10 active managers in my tier but now I'm the last one left. Over the last few seasons one or two will leave, and then the next season one or two more. I stayed because the last two active managers besides myself said they were going to take a season off and then come back. Neither of them have logged in in two months, and the two that left before that, one has left the game completely, and the other shut down his team and started another from scratch because he'd gotten bored (he was Level 11 and there's really not much left to do at that point).

I'm actually currently looking for a new league to join after this season. I don't actually really blame people for leaving. I've been here nearly a year and not much has changed. We've been promised much and given little. I still enjoy the game, but it loses a lot of the attraction when you're not racing active managers.

I'm sure even without the updates, people will or would feel better if they were just told what was happening...








On a kickstarter game I backed, they keep everyone updated on what they are doing etc, so people are ok with it even though they have to wait till next year for the game
