In the recent races I marked that people who are offline but did their set-up can still win the race.

This seems a bit unfair for the players who are online during the race. The cpu controlled racer is so challenging that it is hard to compete against them.

I guess it is never the idea to let someone offline win/ or having really good results over someone who is online who cant even come close to the cpu controlled racer.

I will suggest that when a manager is offline the cpu cannot use their boost. This will make the gap closer and give people who are online a advantage over people who only did their set-up.

Share your opinion how you think about this if you want.

I disagree. I for one cant be online at time of race. If that would mean i always lose, where’s the point in playing the game

I think it is a good idea if you make it controllable in league settings by the host.

In my experience an AI controlled car is never as fast over a race distance as a well managed car. An off-line manager has no control over when or how long the boost is used (AI never uses boost to either obtain or break DRS) and only one push level can be used for the entire race.

So if someone is beating you when they're off-line you can be assured they would beat you by an even bigger margin if they were on-line. In both situations you are going to lose because there is something they are doing better than you. Take some positives out of the experience, understand why they are so fast and do something about it.

Good luck :-)

No way not true. They cannot control gaps to DRS zones, they cannot control tyre temperature, for example. Timing is everything with boost, there's a major disadvantage the other way around which i dont like because i travel a lot ... but thats the nature of the game. I beat a lot of people who were faster than me in my small time racing, and its only because of them being offline during the race.

So move to a league that runs races when you can be on line.

I find that under normal circumstances, teams run by people who can't attend a race usually finish very near the bottom
