Hi Mr. Kevin and Mr. Jose, the one of the best experienced manager in iGP Manager, how do you explain that my car is behind a DRS & Boost (Lv.13) car almost 20 seconds and behind a DRS & Boost (Lv.1) almost 5 seconds. I have make sure that my Design & Technology HQ is maxed and I’m Lv.16, but still very far from the race pace. I tried to use boost to catch up the leading group so that my drs to work but it was really not working at all!! I quickly dropped out the leading group and lost 2-3 seconds in every lap!! This was too weird for a Lv.16 manager, if you can explain that is a big bug then your explanation will be acceptable.

Mr.Kevin has pm me just now and he thought that I forgot to click to purchase drs and boost separately after every times upgrade of Technology HQ but I had really done to purchase. My drs (boost was working) was only not working in Austria iGP and it was working on today race. Many managers said that is something glitch or bug on my team so that DRS is not worked. Can someone tell me why like that??

If u loose 2-3 seconds per lap that is not due to DRS, BOOST, or so.

  • Did u repair your car?

  • Did u use a brand ne engine?

  • Was ur driver at 100% health?

  • Same tyres?

  • Same stint length / fuel load?

In ur last race, u started with Mediums: https://igpmanager.com/app/d=resultDetail&id=175188786
Yes, there were others on Meds, but those mad just one stop. M-S-S seems odd to me.

Design points:

  • How do u distribute your points?

  • On which area do u research? when? why?

  • Ur CD has strength Cooling! Really?

1. I repair my car after every races and my Manufacturer HQ is almost maxed.
2. I change engine after every 2/3 races.
3. My driver was 100% health, for sure because I train him after every single race and his stamina recovered very fast.
4. Sorry I'm not talking the last race (Bahrain iGP) what you mentioned, I'm talking about Austria iGP
5. I do research on "Big 4"- Acceleration, Braking, Downforce & Handling
6. I really couldn't find a CD which is strength in "top 4" in transfer market, unless you sell to me one.

Your comment is too arrogant and unrespectful. Just think others are beginner, please put some respect, not always use "really" to sarcasm me.

How many races had you done on your engine for the Austrian race?
If you're in a competitive league, elite tier, well attended races against high level experienced managers you have to renew engines every race.
If your engine was one or two races old, the fact that you were off the pace isn't surprising.

BTW. I think you have misinterpreted Cole's post, in my opinion he wasn't being disrespectful, he was simply highlighting the fact your CD isn't ideal.

it is your engine and your CD.
with your CD you are 0.2- 0.5 sec per lap slower than someone with a top CD at this point of the season.

With an 1 race old engine you lose 0.2-0.3 sec per lap in addition. with a 2 race old you lose up to 0.5 sec per lap.

you were in quali already 0.5 sec slower which adds up to 46 seconds over the whole race. that can be explained by your CD and not repaired car. Additionally other managers can gain an edge with better resaerch even if you deploy the DP to the big 4 there are ways to do it better than the opponents. that is no bug at all.

DRS and Boost are not the only factors which have impact.

What's yours all problem?? Continue dislike my comments although wrong a little bit(except CD part)[not included Mr.Kevin]. Yup, I'm not experience as all of you in this game but give some respect for me plz and don't show that you all are too experienced in this game.

Btw the comments of Mr.Kevin and Mr. Bastian are having some respectful and helpful. Nothing sarcasm in there. I just want all the fact. Thanks

P/S:I have repair my car parts in every races but I will try to repair my engine in every races coz I have no much engines

If you choose the correct sponsors you will receive enough tokens to purchase sufficient engines to allow you to renew them every race. You're in a one car league, so to renew every race you need 20 engines for 20 races. You receive 10 "Free Issue" every 20 races and need to purchase the shortfall with tokens.

You might also receive a few engines with daily rewards which will further reduce the drain on your tokens.

Be careful not to overstock, you should aim to have your engine stock at zero when the free issue occurs otherwise you risk not receiving your full allowance.

In 20 races you should receive 60 tokens from sponsors but only need to spend 10 on engines leaving 50 to do other important stuff like upgrading HQs and employing better CDs, TDs and drivers.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you've been playing the game since April and it surprises me that you haven't already worked out for yourself that cars are significantly slower when running a second or third race engine.

There are a couple of really informative guides pinned to the top of the "Help & Support" section of this forum. The ones by Joey McLane (a legendary Manager) are a little dated but most of the information is still relevant. I advise you to read them a few times.

Finally, don't get too hung up with the "like" and "dislike" icons. If you look more carefully they're actually "Helpful" and "Not Helpful" which is entirely different to Like and Dislike.

2. I change engine after every 2/3 races.

As others already said: Changing engine every other race is ok in Pro. In a competitive Elite league, u need a brand new engine every race.
Lai
5. I do research on "Big 4"- Acceleration, Braking, Downforce & Handling

At once? One by one? The one with biggest gap first? ACC first? I am just curious ;-)
Lai
6. I really couldn't find a CD which is strength in "top 4" in transfer market, unless you sell to me one.

Tell me what u need. I might be able to help u.
Lai

Your comment is too arrogant and unrespectful. Just think others are beginner, please put some respect, not always use "really" to sarcasm me.

Well, posts like yours alà "What is wrong? I am too slow!" are very common. I don't know u. I don't assume u didn't repair your car. But before digging deeper, lets make sure there is no obvious error. Don't u agree? So, some of my question may sound disrespectful. But thats not the intention. I am just trying to get to the point and help u asap.

If u asked better questions, u get better answers. I would like to see these info in your initial post:
- link to race
- Question "Is my CD part of the problem"?
- Some of the DOs u do: repair car every race; fit driver
That would have changed my post a lot!

And yes, telling you how u should have asked is, of course, arrogant. Seems like, thats me :-p
