noobie question

This has probably been asked before, but just to clarify, are the wear rates on tyres for rookie (short races) simulated as full races

ie Are tyres that would last lets say 50%   going to wear out at half distance in a race irrspective that the race is only 14 laps they are going to be as worn on lap 7 as , they would be on lap 30 in a 60 lap race?,  hopefully by emphazizing the point it can be understand better

Jos, The wear rates are not dependant on distance. The are the same regardless of the length of the race

What about the wear rates for components (chassis, suspension, wings)? Will a 100% race wear them twice as much as a 50% race?

You'd think so, but no. It's exactly the same.

What about driver atrophy?
