I don't really know why but I have had a ridiculous amount of grief in asking this very simple question at another, shall not name f1 managerial game...P

The favourite reply to most subjects of matters pertaining in the form of questions is FOBY, which I am now getting rather irritated of

The simple imho question was Does fuel load directly effect tyre wear?, ie does the game have algorithims calculating this?  all I asked for there and what I would like also to know here is simply "yes or no?does it??

thank you regards

We're helpful here lol.

And yes fuel load does affect tire wear. Other factors affect it too like your push level, the type of tyre and i think even the temperature.

Naturally the tire wear rate drops as you use the fuel. E.g. soft tyres could be going off at -10 a lap with 40L of fuel and when that drops to 20L the wear rate is down to -5/6 a lap. (this is just an example)

It does?

Maybe new tyres just wear quicker?

^this.

That's all it is.

Fuel load doesn't affect the wear.
