So you know how your driver training becomes ineffective when your driver is higher level than you? Should I stop Training DRIVING ABILITY before he hits that level up, and switch to training MENTAL? In order to avoid him leveling past me!!! Or will the increase in Mental push him into the the next level the same as if I would have increased driving ability?

Comparing my driver to Pierre Alesi, it appears that talent level affects driver level... 
I'm wondering if I can safely continue to train my drivers driving ability until he is 5 stars (still level 11), and then switch to mental....

Douglas, in my opinion you should always train driver's physical skills until you reach 20 stamina and low weight (as you've already done), after that you go straight to driving ability until max level again.

You can forget mental skills by now because they doesn't mean as much gain as you get with driving ability skills.

That's true, I have a lvl 2 talented driver who is 3 levels below his teammate.

Answering this question, I think you'll need at least level 13 to be able to keep training your drivers until they reach 5 stars.
