Driver controlled kers

This has happen a couple of times before but i assumed i did it because i couldn't remember. When i unitick the 'driver controlled KERS' it ticks itself at some point during the race.
Today i was absolutely sure bcause I had two race windows open (two teams) and I was reading an article so I couldnt have done it and they both ticked themselves.

I suspect this happens if you run multiple teams from within the same browser.

As a solution, I'll use two browsers. I'll usually use Firefox on my main account, and then Opera for the other. In my experience, this causes two sessions of Java to load (one under Firefox and the other under Opera), and each session appears to be invisible to the other, so what you do in one doesn't affect the other.

I am not a programmer however and my whole theory could be rubbish.

Nag, This has cropped up before. When you first logged into the race, was the box checked? Sometimes when you login & the box is empty, the driver uses the kers themselves. Lots of clicks on & off should rectify this.

James, that is not the cause.

Edwin, it is usually checked then i uncheck it... I'll try what you say tomorrow. 

This is a very old bug that has been asked to be fixed many times.

Just do what Edwin said. Untick and tick the box atleast 5 times and you will never have this problem.

When can we see a fix for this? This has been reported for over a year and it is very annoying.

I just untick and tick again like 200 times till i'm satisfied. Then I do it just one more time for good measure.

And once again after the race start. :P

I haven't had this bug for quite some time now, I just untick it once before the race starts and the drivers don't use it.

That is very peculiar.

The instructions above are correct & have fixed the issue for everyone. I just had a quick look at your account & that seems to be in order.

Not sure what to suggest actually, unless anyone else can add something to the comments above?

Did you tick it and untick it atleast 5 times?

sometimes it fixes it, sometimes (like today) it doesnt
