Race strategy

What did you try to do?
I set my cars up for different race strategies between. 1 car on 2 stops And the other on 3 stops.

What happened instead?
Both completed their stops as planned but both cars failed come out correctly fuelled for their last stint. Both cars were 6 laps under fuelled. Resulting in dropping out of their positions and loosing valuable points.
I was leading the race with one of the cars and the other not far behind.
This is the second time of this season it has happened. Also the second time it’s happened whilst I’ve been leading the race.
My strategy has been set prior to the race and practice laps completed.

Can the bug be reproduced?
It only happens during the race. I don’t want to reproduce it and it’s not something I am doing as far as I know.

Additional comments:
Please sort it. I have not won a race in the elite league yet and both times it’s happened I have been leading. The second time it happened I had a sizeable lead

Did you intend to end the race with 15 & 16 lap stints?

No mate. Both drivers needed to do 10 laps and only came with enough fuel for 4 laps. Had to pit them again for fuel. 

They pitted at different times during the race hence the different strategies 

Okay.  What where the intended stint lengths for the whole race?

Which race are we talking about? I guess it is not one you drove with the Blake 7 account you posted with?

If it is this account, he was referring to his league's Azerbaijan race.  Team is Lotus F1 GP.

Are you saying, you did no practice lap at all prior to setting up your cars?
That's the problem! Prior to doing any practice laps, your race engineer only has vague knowledge of fuel consumption: his prediction how long you can go with a certain amount of fuel is sometimes way off.
After a single practice lap with each car, he knows better.
