Edit: I've added the MS strategy... Also, still looking into which tracks can/should use M11 M9...

UPDATE: Now includes overcut strats for 1 stops.

Some context please. I guess this is about 50% race length?
R u trying to help or did u forget to ask a question?

Quick race is 20 laps

I spent 2 weeks running quick races, with the sole purpose of collecting tire wear rate and fuel consumption for M S and SS compounds. This is the result.
For each track, I've listed all the "possible" strategies (using these 3 compounds) and also highlighted in green the one that "I THINK" is the best.

Ah, I am sorry. Did recognized "quick race" in topic.
Did u consider, that quality and quantity of competition may have an influence? Example: If  M11 S9 is fastest strat for a field of 5, u might start from P2 with M. If u race a full field with tough opponent, S9 M11 might be better choice, since u might start in top5. M as starting tyre would put u in lower half.

Qualifying in Quick Races is random. You do not qualify higher on SS than H...
But even so, sure... Maybe SM is still better than MS (or S,S,SS  is better than SS,S,S), but if I filled in the chart with all of those possibilities, it would be a mile long.

But you make a valid point I didn't consider. In a full field (with random qualifying) it would probably be best to be on the fastest tire at the start of every race. In case you start P8... If you're on M and everyone else is on S's, you might lose the DRS train....

What's the maximum number of cars in a quick race?

I just ran GB '09, using SS,S,S strat, The other 3  managers where on a 1 stop. I lost by 1.5s. And 1st still had 75% boost left.

But what if it was a bigger field? Would I have had more DRS opportunities, and won? Because in a field of 4, I had zero DRS activation...

Or, would it have been better to flip the strat and run S,S,SS.... In order to stay out on the track longer and pick up more DRS in the beginning of Race?

... That all sounds great, but the unfortunate truth is that doing 2 stops in a 20 lap race is going to lose on most tracks. I hope this is not true, and that it can work on at least 3 or 4 tracks...

... What if I wasn't alone in running 2 stops in GB '09? If I had 2 other managers running the same SS,S,S strat, would we then dominate?????
