Break between seasons longer than 7 days?

Our league would like to take a couple of months off for summer activities and to recharge.  Is it possible for me to enter a break between seasons that is longer than 7 days?  Or will I have to delete the league and then rebuild it when we are all ready again?  I assume if I delete the league, everyone can join the new league later without any issues.

I assume drivers, staff, and partners will keep their contracts if a league is left or deleted.  Correct?

As long as they are under contract, then yes you're able to keep them.  All staff and drivers are in a frozen state during periods of inactivity, and don't age or have atrophy to their stats.

Someone else would have to answer the 1st question.  I have no idea.

It's probably easier to just create a new league with a starting date whenever you want it. Get everyone to join it before you go AFK for the holidays.
