Of course naturally this refers to the connection to the IGP servers.

Failed a few times this evening. Just as everyone was getting back from the first failure (i recieved a loading screen for about a minute before re-connecting) everyone was dumped again.
This time however many of us were struggling to re-connect. Meaning at least 2 of the drivers were seriously effected with tire stratergy.

The screen also stuttered and went backwards more than i've ever encountered before, suggesting to me it's trouble connecting with IGP servers.
A very annoying race this evening. :-(

One of our managers had an issue in the last race (On Monday) which meant that he was unable to affect the rae in any way, including not being able to change to Wet Tyres on the first lap after the track conditions changed about 5 minutes before lockout, this meant he ran the entire race on Inters.

I don't know if the issues are linked & to my knowledge he was the only one affected but still very frustrating for the Manager in question.

I accept we can re-schedule but the fact it was in/out meant as AC says some were more affected than others and spoils the race and makes it very difficult to asses whether its fair to restart so far into the race or not.

I'd like to ask if there's any other kind of compensation for those players affected

Fully agree with Andrew, incredibly frustrating and certainly cost me the chance of only my 2nd ever podium. 

I'm relatively new to this, but tonight isn't the first time server probalms have affected a race I have been involved in.  

Our league is Wed and Sat and lasts only for around 40 mins a race so thats 80 minutes a week.

A week has 10,080 minutes. Are we just exceptionally unlucky???

Either way, its not good enough.

Yeah I agree, It does spoil the race for everyone. This problem messed up my strategy today! Not Happy..

If you would like your race to be reset, please ask your league host to post here & I will see what can be done.

Apologies if I speak out of turn, but isn't the correct thing to investigate to try and stop a repeat of the error, rather than offering a race reset?

Yeah i think this is right. We see far too many threads on here of problems with connecting. And people asking to re-do races.

I think it would be nice for once to tell people that problems are being worked on and investigated.
At the moment IGP is starting to get frustrating...

The devs are working on the issue with all the time they have available.  That is the reason so many other things have been put on hold.

Everything that can be done to resolve this issue is being done.

It has taken longer than anyone could have imagined and as Jake rightly says, this is why there hasn't been any new features or developments.

I know it's frustrating to wait, but I can assure it is frustrating for those fixing the issue too, they would much rather be developing new features.

We are hopeful that a 'fix' is coming soon.

Edwin, can you expand on the issue that is occuring because we seem to having the same issues (lagg etc race drop) that we were having last year?

Stuart, there are still some issues with the simulator, although a couple of the recent interruptions to service were network related, one of which was a hardware failure.

There has been some progress with the simulator which may not have been immediatley apparent. This is around getting it to restart itself when it encounters a problem. There have been a couple of occassions where this has worked, although this does not address the underlying issue, which the guys are working on as quickly as they can.

Disapointing, almost every race this season, for a game that's been out for so long this is a bit of a farce. Imagine if people were getting this loading CoD?

Andrew, please accept my apologies for this issue. In order to aid our investiagation, could you please tell us which browser you are using, which versions of Java you have on your machine & are you accessing the internet via a proxy. Thank you.

This is happening during races, every race now for all managers in our league so has nothing to do with AC's browser/java settings.

OK. It would sppear to be confined to your league then, since there has not been an interruption to the service since last week.

I will look into it some more.

Yeah in the last race, all drivers reported they got dumped at the same time.
