Hello Im a new player and this is my first time playing a game like this and wanted to clarify something before I set it in stone. My question is how to figure out the amount of fuel load for each stint. I looked on the Information page and for Melbourne my advice said it would be about 4.3 liters per lap. I was thinking about taking a gamble and try a 2 pit stop race. To do so I calculated...24 laps x 4.3 liters=103.2 need for fuel anyways(I know my Tires might not last the full 24 laps) but would I put 103.2 liters in my fuel amount for stint 1 & 2 and run a harder tire for stint 1? Thanks for any help and it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Steve C. Founder of Fantom Race Works (FRW)

Hard tires lasts about 14-16 laps. Softs on 10-12. After that range, sudden drop in performance will occur.

The amount the advisor says its just a prediction, in my experience its 0,1 or 0,2 less when the race starts. To determine how much fuel u need u just have to do the calculation u did but, over 55-60 litres is slowing the car a lot, so the thinking of saving time by fitting a 2 stints into 1 its not a very good one. In Australian gran prix for example i had a set of hards going on for 24 rounds with decent pace similar to the leaders but it all depends as well on how hard u push, on how much developed r the other teams, the skills of the drivers and so on. My proposal would be, as long as its yr first season, to try  with different settings for both drivers, keep an eye and observe the strategies of the top teams in yr league and race by race u will get the experience.

if you in your second season, or have raced in the same track, you just simply find an average fuel consumption per lap. for example you have 40lt fuel for 10 lap in the first stint, decrease it with the amount of fuel you have in the lap you enter the pit/lap 10 (ex. 1lt).

(40-1)/10 = 3,9

3,9 litre/lap. but it might be more or less, depend on the push level. its just my experience, hope it helps. sorry for my terrible english :D

Thanks guys, this is my first season so I will see what the leaders do over the course of the season. I did figure out the fuel consumption since I posted this thread. I'm going to treat this first season as a "note-taking" season and try to learn what works and what doesn't. League I joined is in its 6th season so Im already behind the 8-ball. Also I forgot that I did play BATracer back in the day and started playing that again just so I could learn even more and try to fine tune my strategy over the season. Thanks for all the help I really appreciate it!

Good luck in your races.  Your attitude to the game in my opinion is just how it should be.  The first season should be the time new players test out all the strategies and staff options.  Hope you enjoy the game.
