Due to annoying timezone differences, I've decided to create my own league. The main reason is that most of the top leagues for me start in the very early hours of the morning where I can't really participate properly, so I was left with two choices - Wait until October for daylight savings to kick back in, or create my own league. So here it is.

Basically it's going to be..

100% length

2 car teams

4 days a week (Mon-Thurs)

4 day season break

8.30pm GMT start (1 hour later than British Racing League for reference)
The main reason for 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs for you guys in the northern hemisphere, Tues-Fri for the south) was just to keep the weekends free. I do prefer 7 day a week leagues but it gets pretty tiresome having to be at the computer at the same time every day, especially in the weekends, and because you often find people miss races in the weekend as they're going out any way.

As for the league itself, we'll be governed by some pretty typical rules in most leagues now, including..

The 15 minute rule. If the server crashes or the race dies completely, we wait 15 minutes for the race to continue or restart. If it is not up and running properly by the time 15 minutes has passed, we have the race rescheduled for the normal race time the next day.

Exceptions: If the race is still running in the background but no one can access it, we will try to have a mandatory restart unless all managers agree otherwise.

The 85% design rule (this only applies to the Elite tier). At the beginning of every season, no team is allowed to start the first Australian GP with a design percentage higher than 85% on any part. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a 3 race ban by either A) cancelling a supplier or B) purposely running 0L fuel in the first stint.

If a team wishes to join the league with a 100% car, they are only allowed to join after the German GP (mid season).

Available spaces can be held for specific managers if this situation arises.

Every manager is allowed a maximum of one team per tier only.

Second teams are allowed in different tiers, but if they reach the same tier as another team you own, it must be removed before the beginning of the next season.

Inactivity allowances. A maximum of 7 days offline, or 3 DNF's in a row due to parts failure will result in being removed from the league.

Exceptions: If the host is notified about extended periods of inactivity beforehand.
The league is open to everyone, although we would prefer active managers if possible. Attending the races isn't absolutely compulsary.

Hope to see some of you soon. The first season starts on August 12th.

Season 1 starts tomorrow.

I'm going to relax the 85% rule for the first season only, in hopes it will attract more interest.

For the first season the design cap will be set to 90%, so if you have a car lower than 90% please feel free to join us.

A reminder of the league setup:

4 day season break

8.30pm GMT start
