Join The World Racing Series Today!

The WRS is now recruiting active, rapid and engaging members in PRO and ELITE, ready for intense competition and a friendly atmosphere.

We are a 2× speed, 50% length League perfect for having a 25 minute, fun and very competitive race whilst involving a strategy aspect with the compulsory 2 compound rule for Pro and Elite top 10 teams, which really evens the field out and has seen even the championship contenders non-scoring as others took advantage.

I am the league host, this is my secondary account and I have 2 years total iGP experience (2017+2019-20). I have raced on all three divisions in multiple league environments- one car, two car, established, starting up- wherever- so I can support you in pretty much every way possible.

With regular inactivity clearouts, we are never full for long, and all of this means we are the perfect challenge for new and old players alike- as you can see from our roster of managers- from newbies to former 10000 Rep!

On top of this, We pride ourselves on being incredibly supportive to all!

ELITE SEASON 5 WRITEUP (By Rhys J)

10 Teams started the season in ELITE and anticipation was building. However, Tan Chong Jian and Alexis Sanchez had always made it clear they would promote and move on, and that was what they did, leaving 8 ELITE Teams, Tare Racing, Parky Racing, Shqipe Race, James Motorsport 2, Banana Racing, Dice Studz, GPSmartnet and Mannson Sporting, to fight for the ELITE Title.

Week 1 Was anticipated greatly to see who the runaway teams would be this season: After Gentian Tare dominated Season 4, Rhys, Dave and Megi were looking to break his run, whilst the new boys were looking to be competitive, and as anton Vert warned he couldnt make the races, and would only fix every few races, It looked like the wooden spoon fight should be interesting.

Race 1 was Brazil, and the 'old 4' took the top spots in S4's championship order, with Gentian Tare just under 7 seconds clear. CenSy picked up a neat 5th on debut, as Anton struggled and ended up over a lap down. Come the USA, a mad dry/wet raced caused chaos as the top 2, Gentian and Megi, fitted softs instead of inters, and Dave and Rhys' 1 stops, as opposed to the Albanians 3 stops, allowed them to both net podiums, meaning Gentian and Dave were tied on 43, with Rhys and Megi on 27 apiece. Malaysia saw Rhys Pip Banana Racing to 4th by 0.001s as he struggled, with dave pulling ahead of Gentian and megi again. In france the order was reversed, with Gentain, Dave, Megi the podium, and banana taking 4th off Rhys. CenSy Tan struggled with 7th, 10 seconds off Rhys Mannson. Monaco ended week 1, and with a variation of strategy as Rhys gambled on a 3 and was left languishing in 4th, The level disadvantage of dave parky, along with a questionable strategy, cost him 2nd, maybe even 1st, as the 2 level 20's, Gentian and Megi, boosted straight past him in the closing laps.

Week 2 was gentian Tare's Dolmain last season, and ahe looked to continue that by winning dominantly in Belgium, seeing off Dave by boosting past him on the last lap. On canada, Rhys Mannson, And Rhys James, gambled and threw away strong results by overusing softs so they could use Ss instead of mediums. The top 3 were seperated by 7 tenths as megi saw off Gentian and Dave. Mexico, Gentian Dominated with CenSy Tan almost catching Rhys to take 4th! Great Britain was both Rhys' and Dave's home race, and they marked it with a strong result: Dave prevailed by 3 tenths over Gentian as the top 5 were only 15 seconds apart. In Germany it emerged Rhys' lack of pace was due to DP saving, but he was still fast, as whilst dave stormed away at the front, he pressured Gentian and megi, who were on a superior Ss-S-S strategy. However lvl 20 DRS kept them ahead, meaning the champion stood as this: Gentian on 215, Dave 202, Megi 160 and Rhys, having now spent his DP, on 121 with possibly the best car.

Week 3 was looking to be an amazing championship decider between Gentian and Dave, and as Dave took a dominant victory in austria, and then hungary too! Monza seemed to be Gentian and Megi's territory as DRS was so crucial, however as they opted for a 1 stop, Rhys and Dave made a DRS Train of their own and using a 2 stop dave, amazingly, won his 5th race running, and took the championship lead with it! The race was also notable as Rhys Mannson took a personal best 5th Place having followed The 2 albanians until he pitted. Valencia was Round 14, and with just 2 races left the championship was really hotting up! Dave, Gentian and megi all varied their strat on a 2 stop, but usong the short pit lane, Rhys James opted for a 3 stop, which for a time looked like a masterstroke. However, with the Ss being overused, he dropped to his 9th fourth place of the season. Dave meanwhile stormed clear and pulled 15 points clear going into the Abu Dhabi Finale. In scorching 43°c heat, Gentian made the fateful mistake to 2 stop using supersofts, and as Rhys made hay on his 1 stop to finish 2nd, Dave Parky rounded out an amazing season with his 7th win in a row, to take the championship by just 25 points having amassed an amazing 327 over just 15 races. It has been an amazing championship, and it looks like Dave will face an even harder fight next season to hold on to his title.

AK BARS is off to an amazing start with 2 wins, but champion Dave Parky is just 14 Points back!
Aron Magura is struggling, but is he about to launch an attack? Can Josh curry leave his mark on the top step, and can Rhys James claim his 4th ELITE win, or will Gentian Tare Reclaim his crown!?!?

It's all to play for, in the

World Racing Series
