What did you try to do?
In the race my first pitstop was near. And it changed fuel and I tried to change it but made it even worse. And the next race I dint change thinking it will correct but it dint
What happened instead?
My both cars had an extra pitstop and lost a 1-2 in the race

Yeah, this has been in the game since I started (Jan 2019) and maybe before, it has has really frustrated me, you get to the pit stop window and make sure the fuel and everything is right, then once you enter the pits and the fuel estimate completely changes, sometimes as much as a lap can be taken out, but it seems to happen at almost every track the only one that I haven't seen is it at is Monaco. I don't know how easy this is to fix but something has to be done because it's not that great at the moment.

Hi,
I suggest you to do pratice laps and after those make the strategy using the right fuel liters: they are calculated for push 3 of 5.(Personal experience)
During the race, you can add o remove liters considering the real consumption.
It's not imediately. But with a bit of experience, you will learn to use it in the best way
