Hi all,
We have a manager named Craig Taylor team name Triple Eight Race Engineering that has just joined our league and should still be in Elites. He accidentally joined just before our last race of the season and with that has been demoted to thr Pro tier. Can we please have him moved back to Elites.

Hi Graeme.
This was not a bug, it was as a result of the manager moving league at the wrong time. Recently there have been a number of requests for promotion and relegation in public leagues and all have been rejected by the support team.
It wouldn't be fair on other managers if an exception were to be made in this case.

Yeah i know it's not a bug and we have never had a problem before with moving managers around as long as everyone was in agreeance. Its a pure honest mistake made by him and no one else in the league has a problem with it.

I understand about it being a mistake and I do sympathise with the affected manager but recently there has been a surge in requests for teams to be moved between tiers, all of them on the face of it for genuine reasons. The support team are busy people and if they continue to intervene to correct peoples mistakes or because of too few teams to activate auto promote/relegate it opens the floodgates.
Recently they have been refusing these requests and if an exception is made for this then all of the managers who have been refused will cry "foul".
The manager in question has completed nearly 800 races and moved league 24 times, he must have known this would happen.
Sorry, but unfortunately the manager will have to earn promotion back to Elite and given his experience he will most likely only spend one season in Pro.

All good not trying to argue with it at all its just the first time we have ever been knocked back for a request like this as i was always under the understanding it was up to the leagues if they wanted it to happen or not. but thats cool.
Have spoken with Craig an yeah he will battle his way back for sure.
We sort of have the same problem though in our other league where we don't have enough in our Pro league and the guys there will just be stuck there soon if we dont get more teams. A couple of these teams i'm sure would slip in fine to our Elite league and prob do well. If however they don't with what you are saying they wouldn't then they will just be stuck there forever and will lose interest. So it is a bit of a catch 22 really. But i understand it both ways.
Just wished we had some magic potion to get new rookie teams in!! One league i've added 5 of my own just to try get some in and the other i think there are 3 active Rookies. Maybe if i fold my arms and shake my head it may work lol
