#1 is slower than every other pit stall by on average by atleast 1 second per stop. Why? The pit times after the race can be identical but magically there is always time is lost on track.
You can enter the pits with a 2.5 second lead, and leave with a 1.0 second lead sometimes, and after the race the pit times both read 4.6 seconds for example.
Very old bug and has been happening for ages.

fuck this game is shit
same old bugs, nothing ever fixed

Jason is quite reasonably expressing his concern about the pit lane at Silverstone. Many would agree & indeed point out issues with other pit lanes too, eg: Monaco.

Maybe they just gain 1.5 seconds on you

These are the kind of "Root" issues that I keep going on about when I say that the core of the game needs sorting before anything else..
No matter how many things you put on top to look nice and so on... When the core has issues, then all you are doing is dressing it up and not sorting key things..
Once the new update hits.. I would love to see a list of core things that the devs have logged and then they tick them off one by one when they have addressed these issues..
1. Connection stability.
2. Tyre heating to each track.
3. Weather system - We are coming to autum and Europe will be cooling soon.. I said about this issue months ago and it will be an issue when we hit low temps (again)
4. Pit lane advantages / disadvantages.
5. more issues that I and others have stated.
New tracks / sponsors and the rest of the ideas being put up on the forums means jack diddly squat if the issues above, and many more, are not sorted FIRST.. Simples :)

But If it happens to everyone how does it really matter?
Arthur Akopyan medal 5000 11 years 85 days ago
Because some colored dots become faster than other for no reason at all. How can you say it happens to everyone if some dots drive through pit lane at full speed until they stop at the last pit stalls, while others pit at the beginning of the pit lane and then slowly drive out? This has to have a #1 priority, higher than stability and stuff, but absolutely nothing has been done :(

you're pretty much without a chance if you race in monaco #1 and #2 cars. No matter how good you're quali is or your race phase is, you'll have to make up 15-20 seconds on a #20-#30 car on a 100% race. If I get a new home page design and still those weird bugs I'm not all too happy. Just like Rob said.

I think we are all agreed that the pit lanes in general need some work
Eric Dias medal 5000 11 years 18 days ago
Yeah, this is very annoying, and still we don't have improvements.
Andrew Hurn medal 5000 11 years 18 days ago
You are correct Eric. This is annoying & it has taken too long to address.
We have some changes to the pit lane that we would like the council members to test. I would like to think that we will be able to commence that testing later this week
