iGP TeamSpeak 3 server.

I am a big fan of this game and I would love to see this grow in to the biggest game of it's type.

So I am offering the use of my Team Speak 3 for any managers to come on during their race and have a chat with other managers within their own leagues or others who are racing at the same time.

I will make up 9 rooms to start off with.. (That works out with 3 live race at the same time with 3 tiers - Rookies / Pros / Elites.)
I will also make another room for Admins. This can be used for meetings with the council or any other pvt talks needed.
It will be good for people who are new to the game. They could pop in and jump in to a room with other managers and ask them direct questions without having to wait for replies on the forums..
If any of the Dev's / Admins / Moderators / Long Term managers wish to be in the TeamSpeak whilst not in a race and they are busy on the PC, they could connect to the AFK room or just hang around in one of the channels on mute until someone joins you or sends you a poke. (It will send you a popup note to infom you.)


TeamSpeak 3 is simple to use.

When connecting for the 1st time. Please put [iGP] either before or after your name and then I will know who you are and see if you need any more help to set it up.
I am connected 24/7 and so are 2 other Admins. So if one of us is alseep, another will be around and more than happy to help you out.



I hope this takes off as iGP could set up their own if it does. They could include the use of it in to the subscription charge. (I'll show one of the admins how to allow members you send a code to and it be fully locked down. if you wish.)

My mate is hosting it from Sweden on his 100mb up and down. (Can host well over 500 users at the same time.)
I am offering it for FREE and it's something constructive for iGP to give another eliment for managers to also talk verbally and have a laugh.

On another note. They have an Android version in the downloads. Moblie TeamSpeak.

well I think it is a good idea Rob.  I hope it is successful.

Thank you guys. I hope the community uses it. The rooms are setup and ready to rock, so when you are in with people you talk to during the race, ask them if they have a headset and pop in any time.

If the council start to use it as well, I am sure more will follow.


*Note*
Can all of the council members take a look and download what ever client you need and try to connect (to test) before Wednesday. It would be frustrating if people turn up and the council spend half of the meeting trying to get peoples mics working.

I'm on TS now until the meeting for anybody who would like to test if it is working ok for them.

Sorry for the late reply.

It was used by a few members now and then but as it wasn't my own TS. I could not control the owner who... errrr.. Can rub people up the wrong way. (It wasn't intentional, You just needed to know how to handle him.. Normally just tell him to P off because he is being an idiot normally works. lol )

BUT.. I have now got my own TS server that is owned and run by myself now.. So it won't be an issue any more.

The new details have been edited to the new IP address..

Please feel free to come in and jump in to one of the game rooms..

If you need a private room, then you can simply make one and it will auto delete once the room clears of members.
