Hi Slo.
TBH I'm not sure, some people reckon the mental attributes make a difference to error rate but the league in which I race every manager has a driver with 20 across all stats so unless there are hidden driver attributes which can manifest themselves as an error we are back to random.
As with many of these discussions, I don't think anyone is against errors, spins, mechanical failures etc. providing it is something over which the manager has control. I don't mind occasionally throwing caution to the wind and risking everything for that elusive lap record or final stint of 6 quallly pace laps on SS to try and overhaul the leader knowing that it might result in a DNF. Where I draw the line is if my risk taking causes someone else to have their race ruined.
But you already know that because I've said this on many occasions, it's just that some people (not you) choose not to listen.
I believe in hidden attributes, i believe my drivers have a high ‘wet conditions’ ability. I hope they exist (if they don’t please create them without telling us).
No, all joking aside, it’s always searching a balance between real life simulation (where crashes, punctures and bad luck happens) and a game (where you can risk it all and where people can quit the game because of bad luck or randomness).
