Rush

Saw the new Rush film today.

I liked it.

In particular, the chap playing Niki Lauda, Daniel Bruhl, was brilliant. The accent & mannerisims were spot on.

It's great to look at too, brilliantly shot & captures the excitement of the start of a race really well. They have done a great job making Cadwell park look like the Nurburgring

Some of the bit parts were a bit odd. Not sure what Stephen Mangan was doing & Luca De Montezemolo looks like a bank manager.

Will I see it again?.......Yes I think so.

Yeah I loved it! 

As you say the only thing would be for us afficionados who can tell they'e not all shots at the real circuits...apart from that I thought for the budget it was a great film!

Having made my track comment, I loved the shots of old Monaco, I thought they were done very well. 8.5/10

Ohh I didn't know it was actually out already. I'll try to see it sometime when it comes out in the United States on the 27th.

Finally went to see Rush last night and I agree with all of the above.  An amazing film and hopefully will win some awards.  Even if you had no interest in F1 it is worth watching.  The fact that nearly all the actors looked so like the people they were portraying deserves an award by itself!
