Hi,

Wondered if one of the developers could look into what happened in my race just now, i changed the fuel levels mid race for my middle stint and it put a different amount in than what i wanted, maybe i made a mistake and clicked 1 to many times on fuel level of 1 of my drivers but not both, and both had different aswell 1 x 38 & 1 x 39 and i didnt want either of those amounts, that left me short with both for final stint, at start of final lap b4 pitting (whole lap to go) i adjusted my fuel levels to put 31 litres in both and 1 of them put 29 litres and i run out, im 100% positive that the fuel strategy box both said 31 litres to go in for final stints on both cars and plenty of time b4 end of lap. but after pit it changed to 29 in strategy box

So either something was malfuctioning or i made 3 seperate mistake's believing 3 times that the fuel i wanted to put in was writting in the strategy box was completly wrong and infact different numbers were written the whole time, if did then my bad! but something was definitly fishy in my mind especially the fuel for final stint.

U can see my pre-race strategy's and the actual fuels levels but thats pointless as u need to get into it and see the code i imagine, basically i was switching the 2 guys pre-races strategys around.

they should of been 40-37-31 & 40-40-28
but ended up 40-38-29
&
40-39-31

its the 38 & 29 that were wrong
plus the 39 in middle stint on 2nd strategy

I regulary change strategys during race and not had this problem b4 or made a mistake i can remember for long time certainly not recently, let alone 3 in the same race its quite possible i messed up the middle stint fuel, but im 100% positive that i set 31 litres for both drivers final stints.... So could someone look into it and just see exactly what happened just to check incase theres a bug.

Thanks
Gary

Just to add,

i changed the fuel quantity after the pit light had come on at start of last lap b4 pit, im sure i've done this multiple times b4 but it might help you to know that.
is there something about turning the light off first then changing quantity then turning pit light back on again?

Also that the fact i ran out of fuel is not the issue, i turned the pit light off at end of race as was trying to squeeze home on low push for last 5 laps as that was only way of getting points, pitting again would of put me 15th so it was worth a gamble but came up short 3 corners from home :P.

You shouldn't have too Gary, but it does mess up some times.

Last week I told one of my drivers to fit 30L in the 3rd stint but after his pit stop I noticed in the unscheduled part it said he fit 31L... so I checked the 3rd stint again and it still said 30L but was greyed out as it should be. Where 31L came from I have no idea, but either way it gave me the wrong fuel.

So there probably is some kind of new bug popping up.

I've noticed lately that sometimes if you change the fuel load too close to when your driver actually stops in his pit box, you'll get the wrong amount. I usually try to have it set before my driver enters the last sector. Basically, your pit crew locks in the amount to fill before the pit strategy box locks for changes.

If you're changing it down from say 45 L to 35 as your driver is coming to his stop, you might end up actually getting 36 or 37. I get hit by this on occasion because I'm fairly frequently indecisive about how long I want a stint to be. It's never really cost me an extra stop though (I tend to put an extra litre or two by default just in case I need to buy some time on higher push).
