these recent updates are making the game more boring, you want to let a level 15 fight with level 20 takes away the fun because it is not helping but harming the higher level people are forcing something that does not exist and is not only harming but yes rewarding the incompetent, I've seen a guy who had reliability / acceleration DC and have a stronger car than mine. This current classification is another one that doesn't have a weaker car in front of the stronger ones, level 20 having a worse performance than level 18 and so on, the friends I know are not liking any of this, they try hard to stay behind okay discouraging. I ask you to go back to some previous versions like: 10 points higher in the 4 areas has a performance advantage and not 20 which is absurd that, level 20 being born with a car better than level 18 with at least 5 points difference, the birth of bad car is 10 to 20 points behind those who really strive to have a good car. if they don’t change that, they’ll lose many managers who were in the game for a long time

One thing to note, no level has better CDs, or better starting cars, than any other level as for all levels the best possible CD that can be hired (same level as team (except for lvl 20), 4.5 or 5 stars) has the same gains in developing the new car.

The reason that lower levels have a little bit better research power is that the higher level get more HQ points. Thus the lower level has a better chance to stabilise the inevitable gap(s) in car design a little bit better than a higher level for whom that gap is just a result of different point allocation, and not less points available. Also being behind in design usually means more choices to optimise research. Nothing wrong there.

The drivers of not too low level teams are also only marginally worse as well as you can get a talent 20 and train all the really important skills to the max pretty soon.

Still, if a lower level manager is doing better than a higher level manager it's because of doing a better job with less resources available to her/him (less gain in DRS, less boost, less design points).

Finally, if lower level teams would really be better then there's always the option to start a new team anytime.

Few seasons ago, a level 15 won the season. And he totally destroyed us.
We were few lvl 19/20 already.
It felt weird.

So you say the game is boring. You're saying predictable is more fun? Why run the races if the finishing positions are as predicted? Or destined or highest level first or whatever. My level 14 driver just won a race at Mexico tonight, against some stiff competition in our league (Yorkshire Rose, go check it out...) and that was quite unexpected. Not only by me, but also the rest of my competitors I would assume. My driver, Gino, tends to finish 4th at best in this league right now. But I practiced a few quick races at Mexico in preparation for tonight's race, and came up with a strategy that ultimately helped Gino finish 1st. I also got lucky a few laps, catching traffic at opportune times in order to cash in on DRS.

So yeah, it's not out of the realm or impossible for us level 14 characters to make some noise now and then. I appreciate your post and your obvious passion for the game and wish you well moving forward Gunther.

I understand that you won, on your merit, but currently believe lower LVL has a lot of advantage over the higher one thanks to research and makes it a little easier for you to be less than 20 points apart in the development of the car, so you have a chance to have great results or surprising like the one you talked about now, imagine if only 10 points were enough for you to be 0.1s slower than the others? it would be much more difficult for you to keep up with them and still be optimistic because Lvl 14 against 20 has an absurd difference only that the game is going in a way where Lvl 10 will have the same performance as a Lvl 20 in a little while, this is surreal and forced by the creators, they want new people in the game but forget about the old people who end up abandoning, my friend has almost or passed 2 thousand races at the IGP since 2012 and for him this was the worst update that the game has ever had , it’s not just me that I’m complaining about and a lot of lvl 20 managers, no account of mine is still at that level but it’s no fun because my results are good because the game holds lvl 20, making them weak. I hope the creators fix this, the way it is is not right. Good run!

That's true. But, IMHO, that's sport and that's beautiful. In my league I struggled to find pace in the last season but looking at the classification my team and another were literally always in the first 4 positions (2 cars league). And i believe a season like this one, with closer rivalries, is better. It pushes you to find different strategies, following the race, always managing the race at a higher level. Take two race ago as an example, Gatti driver took a podium which was unpredictable. That's because, maybe, there's a lot of references to study for in the forum pushing the lowest lvl driver to good final positions. But again, if a low lvl driver took a podium can be partly due to luck but partly because of skills. And I like it.

You're competing in a Pro tier against a L12 team. IMO the reason he's smashing the season is because at L12 he doesn't incur a ballast penalty. In my experience a a few Kgs of ballast has a massive impact on lap times.

Next season he will be promoted to Elite where no teams are handicapped with ballast and he will find it much more difficult to compete against high level teams.

People need to understand that what makes your car is not your level but your staff and your knowledge of the game basics.
A level 15 can have a faster car than a level 20 and there's nothing strange about it. The only real difference between a level 15 team and a level 20 team is their technology. And a level 15 technology is already enough to be fighting for wins and championships if the level 15 manager knows what he's doing. And it's always been like that since forever.
This game is full of bugs and things that have no sense at all. But this is not one of those things.

but what splits everything is the birth of the cars, the game standardized in a way that a lvl 15 for example is born with the same number of the 4 areas equal to a lvl 20 and still not happy about it the research of lvl 20 is worse than lvl 15, is that right? No, it is not right. Lvl 20 has better seats, better drivers and even better DC so it's a matter of logic for a higher level to have a stronger car at the beginning, for the lower level to want to compete they will have to innovate, risk, test new development styles, strategies different ways to fight and depending on the league you run there will be experienced staff who will be able to help. Example: imagine if the F1 organization decides that Williams (the worst car on the grid today) will always have better Qualifications than Mercedes (best on the grid) and the technology and performance of the car will be the same, only Williams will have development aid, not justice, is the opposite of that. in the game there are several leagues that have some means of communication that can help these younger people or lower level to evolve, I particularly struggled a lot with my teams to have decent results, this is the fun of the game, you have a satisfactory result with your effort and not because the game is favoring you for being inferior lvl .... and human beings only give value and attention to what is difficult to achieve, everything that is easy loses its value and the game for the lower lvl is a little easier to achieve. Respect your opinion and good game!

one thing that has happened to me is ... I lose positions in the drs to a level 17 and I also lose countless positions in the curves with better braking of the league and it is not push ... another thing ... how is it possible for a level 20 to use  20 to 30% of kers to take 0.2 seconds while a level 17 spends 5 to 10% for that ... it looks like they even matched the kers .... This is brooding because level 20 is suffering everywhere they go because they want it  a level 15 or 17 are equal to 20 ... in addition to the tbm qualys that are lottery having the worst cars in front and the best at the bottom of the grid and that having the same strategy !!!!  inadmissible!!!!!!
