Hi, I’m just after opening a conversation regarding how elite mangers and more experienced managers than me go about there race craft.

1) do you set a push and stick to it?
2) do you do high push and cool off laps?
3) do you change it multiple times over the lap?
4) do you let them burn and just push?
5) is there a trick I don’t know. 🤪

I’m really searching for an added level to my game play that I can’t find and would really like to know how important push is in regards to speed.

Are they little hacks & tips that folk know.

Is really important to bang it on the “dot” and keep it there?

All the best.

Stay safe & sound!!!

Hi Damien, apart from car design strategy this is what differentiates you as a good manager.

I don't like to keep tyres every time on the dot, so I hardly ever maintain same push level during a lap (with some exceptions, such as Monaco and scorching races).

If I may suggest you something, how about try using your tyres a little bit cooler than you are used to. Thus you have few seconds of extra push when needed.

Hi Gustavo,

Thanks kindly for your response.

My preference so far is using multiple push around the track. And i tend to use low along the straights and full around low speed corners. I works well when the track isn’t to hot. And on some particular circuit sectors I’ve found some good time. However it’s in very difficult to give data & times etc. Just a game play feel I guess.

I’l certainly take your advice about trying to keep them cooler so I can push very hard if I need.

Cheers. I think I’m doing it right.

Need to look at developing the car next then.
