Whilst I eventually won the race, I doubt I can be 6 seconds slower than the pole sitter and still win the race?
I had setup in the dry and the race was dry too.

It might be worth someone to have a look

Anthony, that is an odd one. We will look into that in the morning

FYI I've had a similar problem before, but it was because there was rain during qually and only "some cars" got the rain while others had a dry track (apparently all cars qualify at a different time)
But I'm in your league, and there was no rain today, so that makes no sense. Germany qualifying has always been weird and incredibly backwards. It's one track I've been complaining about for a long time because I think the qualifying is bugged there (sometimes people with 50% worse cars than you will out qualify you, and sometimes drivers with no training at all EG level 6/7/8 vs level 14 drivers will qualify faster)

My immediate assumption was raised by Eton, I was assume this was caused by rain during qualifying followed by a dry race, but only the simulator developers could give you a conclusive answer.

Each car performs its qualifying lap on an empty track. I cannot remember which order they are done in, but the process takes a couple of minutes.
