I have been struggling to find time and motivation to participate in the races lately and I want to give myself a break. I don't want to log in each day but I'd like to save my team money and tokens. I guess I will lose my staff but If decide to start again to save some time building from scratch.
What's the best way to conserve my team ?

Simply leave the league you are currently competing in. Leaving the league will cost you 10% of your bank balance.
Because wages, car wear, driver contracts, sponsor contracts, experience (levelling) points etc. are charged, rewarded or renewed on a race-by-race basis your team will effectively hibernate until you next wish to race them. You will not lose your drivers or staff because their contracts expire after "X" races and because you won't be doing any races you will retain them.
Every now and then, if you feel the urge you can log in and do a quick race.
