points for pole position and fastest lap

i think there should be points for pole pole position and for fastest lap in a race, like they have (forgive me if am wrong) in DTM.

I think there shouldn't be.
Qualifying is quite random, and if want to start on the hard tyre, you have little chance for pole. The fastest lap often goes to the person who saved all his kers for the last lap. I don't see why either of these two should be worth more than a vanity stat, let alone worth a point.

Bit similarly there have been suggested, I also think it would be nice, if fastest laps will be more indicated in results. Like in season standings, number of fastest laps / driver in season and avg. quali results. I like stats and want all data to be shown :D

However I too think, no extra points from fastest laps and pole positions.
