moving leagues?

I'm not moving leagues but thinking about it wouldn't that really mess up the design of the car?

What would happen to the performance?

If you switch leagues this seasons design will be scaled to match the highest design car in the league you are going to. If your current car design is lower than the highest design car in the league you are going to no change will be made. Next seasons design remains the same. If you switch to a league that has fewer races per week than your current league, the chances are that their design will be ahead of yours

so what would be the benefit of changing leagues mid-season from a performance standpoint? Would you be able to switch leagues when your current one is at race 15 and the other at race 4? Wouldn't that give you a lot more time to complete the design for the next season?
