would it be possible to tell your driver not to overtake with drs and only to close up or to tell them to let someone back through, the only reason i suggest this is i have just lost a 1-2 finish at silverstone by overtaking 2nd place on lap 59 with drs only to drop back down to 3rd on lap 60, which is also the last lap.

The only way to do is with 2D.

Actually, you can try to stop that DRS Scenario through the Live Timing and Orders. By backing off before DRS Zone and by keeping KERS for the final lap etc.

You will only pass in a DRS zone if you are close enough to the car in front. This does not take into account, tyre temperature, tyre wear, push level.......etc
There are many factors which determine whether you will pass or not
