What is the point.

What's the point in making Suggestions? They always get slated.

They don't always get slated.

I just felt that using qualifying to base objectives off wouldn't work.

By the way, this isn't a suggestion and therefore probably shouldn't be in the suggestions sub-forum :D

That suggestion would only work on 2D. And you must admit, 99% of these just get brushed away. I have only seen 1 with the 3rd driver which has had positive feedback. Only 1 negative one and I think it was you lol.

You're now slating other people's suggestions.

I'm not slating, I'm just saying it would only apply to 2D viewers as you cant see the drivers without 2D. Did I say it was a bad idea?

Well, there are some suggestions which would be costly or time consuming, and lack credibility to be implemented anytime soon.
There are the suggestions that aren't so good.
Then there are a lot of suggestions that have been suggested before, which are a waste of everones time.

From my experience, most suggestions don't get shot down in the sense of "will never happen," but rather what typically happens is that there are more important things on which the developers' time should be spent. Would you rather have a test driver, manager identification in chat, or a game that works 24/7/365? Even if a suggestion is good and desired by the players, there are often "bigger fish to fry."

The game to work properly.

The priority should always be for a game that works 24/7/365

I said this yesterday, I would prefer the game to work all the time rather than have an upgrade on the DRS. 

The developers can focus on more things than one, and upgrading the DRS was a pretty simple change to the code (as far as I know). Having the system up 24/7 is probably out of their control and therefore they may as well add simple things that still improve gameplay like the DRS update.

My question was rhetorical, but obviously you understand my meaning.

This is why a lot of past suggestions haven't been implemented. Not because they were bad or because the developers don't care, but because there are simply things that are more important to do, or the recent DRS change Dan just mentioned that was basically a quick fix.
