Start a wet race, full push at lights

I went from 5 th to 13 back up to 10th by the end of the lap.

This has happened to me 3 or 4 times.
Additional comments:
I believe this is a bug. I've dropped lots of places off of the start a few times. Could also be a Racing event, missed gear, bad line etc. Anyone confirm this is a bug? Driver is straight 20's
