Hello guys, I am a very beginner player in this game. I have read many guides/articles and I have learned a lot but I haven't solved one of my problems. My upcoming race is in Brazil, 17 laps, and huge tyre wear. Well, I have read that tyre health should not go below 50%, because the tyres will lose performance. In this race, both of my drivers want to do 1 pit, but this cant be done unless the tyres go below 50% health. I had a plan of doing 2 pits and using soft-soft-hard but someone else told me to use soft-medium. What is your opinion?

Soft-medium can work, but I would recommend using soft-soft-soft.

I would go M,M or M,S tyres 1 stop. Brazil has a pit length of around 18sec. A 1 pit strategy would save that extra time. But you'll need to be with-in13sec of the leader after your stop, for this strategy to work. And hope they do a 2 stop race. It really comes down to how fast is your car?
1st stint carry 9.5-10 laps of fuel. This will give the option of either going S or M tyres. If you go with S  tyres, you'll have less laps on them and carry less weight (fuel)  = faster times.

So you think the best strat is to go Softs from the start and then medium. well, how it seems using softs from the start and then softs again? Or I will be too slow?

If you don't want to do 2 pits. Personally I would start on M tyres and pit on the 10th lap (Exit pit on11th lap) Then go S tyres with 7 laps to go. It all depends on the track temp and tyre wear rate. On a 17 lap race saving 15-18 sec on a pit is a big advantage. This would be my strategy m8.

If M-S or S-M is  better choice, depends in part on your league: if everyone starts with S, you would be with M probably around P30. That's a no go.
Starting at P15 with M would be fine.
