For the cost of, lets say 100 coins, you should be able to purchase an option that allows you to operate two simultaneous facility upgrades, over the course of extended time (like how you can run multiple different research upgrades with the Chief Designer, just at lower research gains). 

Just a thought for a QoL upgrade.
