Hello guys!

I read somewhere that each circuit has it own ,,best design“. Also I read that it is always two attributes which are perfect for the track.

My question now:
Is it possible to ,,see“ which attribute is the best for the circuit or can I only figure it out by testing season after season?

For example for Valencia it is acceleration and breaks. How can I see it?

You can get a slight idea from the next track icon, a track with high overtaking opportunities will generally favour acceleration. At tracks with especially high fuel and tyre wear then good FE and TE can really work well. Apart from those small hints it's about knowing the nature of all the circuits. Bumpy circuits will favour cars with good handling. I've only done 100 races but acceleration is the most important one most of the time, but you still want to have a balanced car

Guess what...

I've tested it and the Fuel Consumption bar is irrelevant. The fuel consumption per lap is entirely dependent on the length of the lap, so Belgium (Spa) has the highest consumption per lap and Monaco the lowest.

However, if you start thinking of fuel consumption in terms of MPG or litres/100km which will determine your fuel load (weight) it's different. This is dependent on a combination of the FE design attribute and the Push Level during the race. So for any given FE value Monaco is one of the highest fuel consumption circuits (in winter it's PL5 on SS for the entire race) whereas Monza is one of the lowest (because you have to run at very low push level to prevent the tyres overheating). Totally opposite to what you would think.

So, having determined the fuel consumption bar is meaningless I wonder just how much value the other three have.

You're clearly much more experienced in this game than I am, so I bow to your superior knowledge. I did say it was a slight idea, it may be more applicable to overtaking opportunities and bumpiness. Personally, i have a reasonable knowledge of the circuits which might not help much but i find it does. At my current stage of development I'm going for a nice balance all round. Maybe not perfect for any circuit, but decent everywhere 👍

Sorry Jack if I came across as condescending, that wasn't my intention. Even after five years playing this game I don't know how to interpret these bar graphs. But I have managed to determine the fuel one is rubbish so I question the relevance of the other three.

No that's fine. You were concise, not rude. Text naturally comes across as cold anyway so i didn't take offence. I wasn't being sarcastic in my response either, I'll trust the judgement of a dedicated, 5 year player over myself, 113 races in 😂😂

In my opinion only Acc, bre, han and DF have a really small, nearly nothing, impact (maybe in 100% races but I don’t know) at the performance of the car.

But I read in the forum that each circuit has its own preferred attributes. Like at on circuit you will be faster with breaks and handling, at the next circuit you will be faster with downforce and acceleration.

In my league we try testing with different Designs, in hope to see some sights.....but 🤷🏻‍♂️

😂😂😂😂 thanks man!

But your Mod ,,Gustavo Heiden“ said for example at Valencia are Breaking an acceleration are the preferable ones and handling/downforce are the least ones.

Therefore I am wondering what are the preferable ones at each track 😉

I only want to know a little hint of what to improve on each circuit.

I've been looking for it for months.
