Hello there. I would love to see an IGP discord! All managers can communicate there, give tips and tricks to other managers, trade strategies, join in leagues and 100+ more things!

Hello Bill,

Thank you for your suggestion! We received this suggestion a while ago and we rejected for various reasons:



  1. Discord is an external software so we lose control over the community and platform.

  2. We prefer to have our own and customisable forum under the company domain.

  3. It would be needed a bigger moderation team and the moderators would need a new training for this.

I want to say thanks for replying. Also, I dont think by making a discord server you will lose control over the community. On the contrary, with a discord server more players will learn about the game and some of them they will play it. Discord is an app that brings gamers together , discuss their ideas about the game , communicate with each other . I dont think discord is so difficult to learn, so you dont need so big moderation for that. 🙂

there isnt enough in this game to have a discord.

there are no tactics, no special set up tricks, nothing to talk about.

if you look at the forums here most posts are bug reports, that says it all really.

Its a good game though and you are wrong . There should be a lot of tricks.

Actually there are quite a lot of tricks. I really dislike people who come round here acting like they've figured it all out, there is a lot to discuss about this game it's just a shame that there isn't a proper place to discuss it because either people don't want to give up their secrets to the entire player base or people get drowned out by loud mouths who can't stay on topic...

IMO there is more depth to this game than some people believe.

I think there's quite a lot that experienced managers can discuss about race management skills, strategies and a little bit of basic mathematics to work out optimum R&D, tyres and fuel strategy. All these things will help newbies and less experienced managers.

If you don't believe there is anything more to learn then please explain how how a few of the very best managers are just so fast and almost unbeatable by us mere mortals? However, I think the chances of them giving up those little secrets in a Discord channel are zero LOL.

Edit: Oops, typing at the same time as Leo... and he always beats me so again I have a lot to learn... be more concise :-)

say what you like the game has gone backwards the last few years, there are more bug reports than actual other posts, how can you take it so serious knowing that the game can at anytime beat you, perfect set up, perfect driver, perfect start and oops you get given the wrong tyres,lol.

and thats just 1 bug, a very old one still not fixed but still a bug.
but at least we got a totally diff HOF that no one wanted,lol

dont get me wrong, when it works its a good game but there's nothing to it these days, adding more for us to work out would encourage communication but right now, no need.
