In my opinion we're entering into a golden age of driving talent in f1, i personally think that a few of these boys are World champion material. I still rate Gasly very highly despite him having a nightmare at Red Bull, and I think it was a crying shame that Ocon was left out in the cold last season. I know George Russell has had least opportunity to show what he can do, but i really think he's the real deal...

Very nice topic.

Easy answer is Verstappen/Leclerc. They are at least Talent 99.

But my fav would be Norris since his race in Daytona where he was as fast (even faster?)than Alonso.

This guys give me smile just as Ricciardo. F1 needs drivers like these.

Verstappen and Leclerc are the most obvious answer at the moment, i totally agree. But they're both a bit further into their f1 journey than the others, and both have had a race winning car, at least for a time. I was actually unsure whether to include them as they are very well established despite their youth. I think they're both ridiculously good, and are very quickly smoothing the rough edges that all young drivers have.

Lando is awesome, i just love his personality, his humour and the fact he's a gamer at heart. But when you take all that away he's a seriously fast, unbelievably talented kid. George russell impresses me so much too, not just on track but in how he conducts himself, and his intelligence. I seriously can't wait for the future. With these guys, even the ones in the list we haven't mentioned that are all seriously good, and the new regs, I'm hopeful of a time that goes down in f1 history as one of the very best
