What did you try to do?
On the transfer market I saw a Chief Designer for sale that suited my needs. I clicked onto him and placed a bid (and was the only bidder).
Returning to the transfer market page to check on the auction: The first page that came up was the list of drivers for sale, and at the top of that page was a single driver in the active bids section. I had not placed a bid on this driver (Carlos Kelly), but the game was telling me I was the top bidder. The driver's individual page showed no bids at all.
What happened instead?
Moving onto the staff page, there was no active bid at the top of the page, but the CD's individual page showed I was the only bidder. When I returned to the game, I had won the bid for the driver (that I never bid on) and did not get the CD, even though no other bids were made for him.
