Contract and pending contracts?

What is the leght of time that a contract can be pending for?

I am currently wathing a Tech Director who is being bid on by another team.  So I added them to my short list, now for the last 24hrs he is still pending?

What is the normal lenght of time before the Tech Direct is allowed to take bids again?

When a manager makes an offer to a staff member, when the staff member replies to the offer, the manager should have 12 hours to either accept or reject the hiring. If the Technical Director you're after is still waiting to be confirmed by the same team after 12 hours then the system's buggered up and you'll need a developer to unlock him/her for bids again.
