Added as friend notification?

I think it would be cool that when you add someone as a friend he would receive some kind of "notification" that we've added him as such.

If this already happens, sorry for the "nonsense" post. That only means that nobody as added me as their friend... LOL

Yes I like that idea but I think it should be optional to let them know.  Sometimes the 'friend' list can be used for monotoring.  Not that I do that!

I'd like to see a chat system built into the browser for friends too. PM's and refreshing the page are kind of annoying.

I think the current PM system works fine for longer messages, but for a more IM-like system, this would be good.
