This is really a question to the developers of the game which I've being meaning to ask for a while now. Exclusive of managerial influences and only independently related, can drivers have different performance outputs? For example, can one fully maxed Talent 20 driver with weight of 51kg be quicker than another Talent 20 driver who is fully maxed and weighs the same. I'm hoping that there are no other factors involved in determining a drivers performance other than what I have mentioned, like for example height or other things which the player may not be aware of. I would like to think that every driver of equal stats are also equal in performance. So then it truly comes down to each individual managers skill as to how to get the most out of their driver rather than one driver being inherently faster than another due to some other qualities that we, the players, may not know of. I feel this would spoil the game and take away from the skill element tbh. Tnx

I think there is to be honest. I certainly think some drivers must have a "wet race" trait. And older drivers tend to do better in wet conditions, young drivers tend to qualify faster. So it does seem some traits/stats that are "hidden" do contribute to performance. It will probably never be confirmed though.

I really hope there are hidden traits, would make igp more human. And i hope they never confirm they exist, would totally take the magic of an unexpected good performance away

So in other words you would prefer to have a player winning through luck and having the right "hidden stat" on their driver, which nobody is aware of, rather than through skill, knowledge of the game and how to maximize the potential of your driver only through what the players themselves put into the game through their managerial skills, race strategy and tactics! Because that's what I thought this game was all about 😕, not some lucky pick that earns you a "magic" victory but a far more rewarding and well earned victory through nothing but merit and know how! To me, that tastes a lot sweeter tbh! On the other hand if you have a combination of skill and luck (of having the right driver) and you're beating a guy of similar or maybe even better skill and misfortune of having a lesser driver then this takes the shine off of what's supposed to be a simulated managerial game an turns it into a lottery!

Hello,

As we said several times in the past, there are NOT hidden stats or traits. What you see is what the simulator takes. Another thing is that players still didn’t discovered how everything works. Does age has any impact? Height? Who knows. We won’t explain how it works, that’s the mystery of the game.

No it should be a good mix of skill and luck, mostly skill with a pinch of luck (or hidden trait)

I prefer to not have to rely or depend on something that I may or may not have that I am totally unaware of and use my skill and knowledge of the game to bring out the best in the performance of driver and car. I guess that's where we will have to just agree to disagree 😉
